Designing AI That Actually Gets Your Users
Sale Price: $395.00 Original Price: $595.00

Most AI products are data-rich and insight-poor. They have access to enormous amounts of signal about users as well as rich content, but they use it bluntly. Recommendations that feel generic, assistants that don't remember what matters, and interfaces that treat everyone the same. The opportunity is fine-grained, contextual use of data to create experiences that actually know your users.

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn to design AI products using rich information. Then you’ll apply that method and explore the hidden costs of AI reasoning.

You’ll leave able to:

  • Spot the moments where deeper understanding of your user or their context would change what your product can do, and make the case for building it

  • Design for meaning, not labels, so your AI responds to what people intend, not just the words they use

  • Decide when AI is the right tool, and when it isn’t

You’ll walk away with:

  • Signal to Meaning worksheet, for turning available data into a real understanding of your user

  • AI tradeoff worksheet, for deciding when AI is worth it, and when it isn’t

  • Workshop slides and exercises
